Plaid Tunic c/o PinkBlush // White Jeans // Brown {DV by Dolce Vita} Boots (old, similar here & here) // Lipstick (‘Scarlet’) // Earrings
I must confess that I haven’t been blogging as much this week – I’ve been Christmas shopping instead! But when I saw this plaid and sequin tunic, I knew I needed to have it! It’s so comfy and perfect for adding a bit of festive glam to your holiday look. Not everyone has a ritzy holiday party to attend this season (raising my hand over here!), and although I’d love to wear a gown, this outfit is probably more of a realistic ensemble for my holiday activities ;). I plan on wearing this for exchanging gifts with my side of the family this year.
I’ve featured them before, but I seriously love PinkBlush. Their pieces transition with you as you go from not being pregnant, to becoming pregnant, to postpartum, and beyond! Who wants to buy maternity clothes unless you need to, am I right?! Well, leggings will become your friend, so DO invest in maternity leggings and nursing bras, but other than that, just stick with silhouettes that are versatile (like tunics, button down shirts, etc) and you’ll be set.
**No, I’m not pregnant, just giving my two cents on shopping for pregnancy! 😉 **
What are you wearing for your holiday events this year?! I’m sticking with winter whites and of course, this plaid and sequin tunic! And lets be real, Christmas is meant for staying in your pajamas all. day. long!
Stay tuned for something fun next week!! (Hint hint: it’ll make it easier for you to go shopping – whether that’s for others or for yourself! There’s no judging here 😉 !)
